Ancient building spree property boom

This article on the guardian brings in the idea of a property boom around 3700 BC. It had previously been thought that the ancient momuments (stone circles, barrows and the like) had been built over many hundreds of years but it seems with new research there was an intense period of building going on in ancient Britain.
