Mathern Palace is positioned at the end of the village and was the former residence of the Bishops of Llandraff until it was restored by the historian and famous Garden designer H Avrey Tipping. The house today has D1 use but could easily be reverted to a private residential dwellling. The accomodation is full of historical features and is well proportioned with a number of impressive recpetion rooms and extensive bedrooom accomodation.

The gardens at Mathern Palace are incredibly romantic and lie to the south and west. The property beneifts from two cottages (one rquires finishing). Beyond the gardens is a large paddock.
