Bleak House commands one of the most prominent positions in Broadstairs – High up on the cliffs on the coast of Kent stands this historic mansion house, known far and wide as the seaside residence of the great novelist, Charlest Dickens. This Grade II Listed house was built in 1801 and has to be one of the country\’s most renowned homes as here, in a small study looking straight out across the sea, Charles Dickens wrote the greater part of his most famous novel, David Copperfield.
