The old rectory at Alburgh
The Old Rectory is situated on the southern edge of Alburgh is a lovely gothic revival victorian building. It’s got wisteria growing on it too which adds to it’s loveliness.
Ticks for me for the swimming pool and sauna – but no pictures of them!
There is a lovely bit in the estate agent description::
There is an Orchard divided from the main garden by box hedging. Immediately to the west of the house is a Terrace partly covered by a Pergola draped with a vine and beyond is an area of secluded garden, excellent for keeping small children and animals under control!
What view would you like to wake up to?
For many people a beautiful sea view would be just the thing to wake up to. For some it might be acres of rolling green hills, but even then there are days you wake up and wish you could see the see from your bedroom window.

William and Mary architecture dates from 1690s-1715. They themselves commission many buildings such as Hampton Court, Kensington Palace, and Greenwich Hospital.
The style has dutch Gables, shaped with ogee parapets crowned with semi-circular or triangular pediments.
A Dutch gable is a gable with sides have a shape made up of one or more curves and has a pediment at the top. An ogee parapet is one that (going from low to high) is a concave arc flowing into a convex arc, with vertical ends.
Perfect house in Drayton
This former rectory in Drayton is perfect. Swimming pool, tennis court, loads of space, beautiful house and gardens.
There’s only 1.7 million things stopping me from buying it.
It’s a listed Grade II and the former rectory for St Catherine’s Church, built in the early 19th Century.
It’s got a private driveway so is set back from the road. The village is quiet with a pub.
This one is really lovely. It is a very special house.
As well as the pool and tennis court it has a gym and a small property suitable for family or staff. From the roses around the door to the 6 bedrooms and lovely range of reception rooms – this would be a serious contender when I win the lottery!

Cute mouse hole in house for sale
You’re not going to hear me say this many times – but this house has a mouse hole that’s worth a look! It’s very cute!
The agent describes it as “A most unusual and rather charming feature of the property, is its delightful mouse house set into the skirting board on the first floor landing, a delight for any child, young or old.”
Glynn in Cornwall
Holiday complex for sale. They’re making a lot of money from these holiday lets so I was suprised to see they didn’t list very much information about them. A little detective work found me this though – it’d said In total 13 acres which is confirmed on this website Glynn Barton Holiday cottages is a set of eight stunning 18th Century child, toddler & baby Friendly holiday cottages set in 13 acres.
It’s very pretty indeed!
I’m not sure running a holiday cottage complex appeaks to everyone though and it’s a very busy one – hence the high levels of income but if you were looking for a career change and can get some serious money from the bank then it’s only £2.5M!
Swimming pool and tennis court and some beautiful buildings does it for me although it’s not very close to the sea!

This is a lovely house – it’s on with two agents but I think I like the pictures better on this one. Bevere Lane is a lovely quiet looking area.
