Trafalgar Barton is a distinguished Grade II listed House house with a long and fascinating history – Originally built for one of the captains on Nelsons Victory, the house is set high above Branscombe and has some views of the sea.
The staircase is impressive – and just look how much room is underneath. There’s outbuildings and land and amazing views.
It’s in the tiny hamlet of Branscombe which has a beautiful pebble beach.

Witches Cottage discovered in Pendle
Buried ‘witch’s cottage’ discovered in Pendle, Lancashire
Engineers have said they were “stunned” to unearth a 17th Century cottage, complete with a mummified cat, during a construction project in Lancashire.
The mummified cat found could indicate it’s a non-witches house though
Ironically, non-witches would often brick a living cat into their walls during construction, believing that when the cat died in those walls, its spirit would attach itself to the home and protect it.
