It was in Manchester, so I watched with interest to see what areas they were visiting.
Abigail and Kay wanted to live in Didsbury but with only £150,000 they were out of luck! Didsbury is horribly expensive. David and Ashleigh wanted to buy a flat in the middle of Manchester.

Watch last nights show on 4onD
Series 14 Episode 17.

Two two girls were shown places in Northenden, Chorlton, and Heaton Norris. They loved the Northenden1950s house partly because it was very (originally) retro and they loved the chocolate coloured bathroom. They loved the style of furniture in the house and would aim to redate rather than update.
They put an offer in and it was accepted. £110k on an asking price of £124,950.
The channel 4 site now shows details of the properties they viewed.

For under £150,000 in Didsbury – at the time of this post – there are 10 properties with three bedrooms or more. This one even has a swimming pool!

The other couple on the show wanted city centre living. They were a relatively new couple who haven’t lived together before, but the bloke has saved up a deposit and was ready to buy. The girl loved the flat in Salford with the cottagey feel – at the Model Lodging House – which to be honest I thought looked like a prison in the foyer area.

They plumped for the Piccadilly Lofts one and put an offer of £208k in which was accepted.
