The Rich are to lose their council houses says the Telegraph this morning.
How will they do this? Council houses have secure tenancies (and low rents) – so how would they manage this?
I think they’re looking at it the wrong way round. They should be asking why rents are so high in the private sector!
The reason people queue for years for council houses is the cheap rents AND secure tenancies.

I saw this house that’s in Devon for sale – it’s a really lovely 8 bedroom Superb Grade II* Georgian country house
and it instantly reminded me of this one near where I live at the moment.

They’re not identical but have are both great looking houses! They’re both Grade II* listed properties which means they’re both important houses.
Perhaps they both appeal to me as this is the size home I really want!
