This amazing 5 bedroom house is for sale at a guide Price of £4,500,000
It’s in Bathampton, Bath, BA2 6ST and is a former rectory.
The property is Grade II listed and dates back to the 17th century however it is understood that the trout lake was fished by monks from as early as the 14th century.
It ticks SO many boxes for me – being a really pretty house with lovely gardens.
There is a kitchen garden, rose walk and orchard. The canal is a superb feature and currently has a boat mooring at the bottom of the garden. The heated swimming pool is serviced by two changing rooms, a shower room, kitchen and barbeque area. In addition is an all weather tennis court.
Stunning. Love the lawn pattern too!

How many bedrooms does your house have?
This house claims to have four bedrooms. It also says in the details (Please note bedroom four is currently used as a bathroom)
Hmmm. How much sense does that make?
Sea views and nice big rooms – so why spoil it with this bizarre comment? If a room is being used as a bathroom then it’s not a bedroom.

Council tax blow for second-home owners
A bit of a shocker but makes sense to everyone who hasn’t got a second home!
Council tax blow for second-home owners.
Local authorities will be told they can abolish the rebate. This will be great in areas with large numbers of second homes where council tax may then be cut for people with only one home!
