Orleton House is Listed Grade II for its architectural importance. The main house has origins in the Jacobean period but it was effectively rebuilt in 1858 and has classic architecture of the period. The exterior is characterised by mellow brick elevations, attractive stone work and prominent Dutch gables. Rising above the house are ornate chimney stacks and a fascinating bell tower with the bell remaining in good working order and still in use by the family.
